Founded in 1949 by Jacques Ledoux, EXPRMNTL is the first international festival dedicated to experimental film and becomes a meeting place for avant-garde artists. For the fifth and last edition, video art enters the program, with Nam June Paik visiting the Belgian coast to present his installation TV Buddha.
